Before installing the roll cage to this Mitsubishi EVO 10 we had to strip the car of its interior.
Installing the roll cage required us to cut mounting plates and weld them to the chassis from under the car. We also custom manufactured seat mounts that met FIA/Motorsport UK safety standards. The custom mounts allow the driver to better position the seat and make it lower in the car. It helps to reduce the centre of gravity and is also more secure and safe. Various brackets had to manufactured to complete the job.
We then reinstalled as much of the interior as possible where it could be around the roll cage. The dashboard was sent to Thomas & Vines Ltd who are a flocking specialist. Dashboard flocking is a coating that is non-reflective and gives the best possible visibility through the windscreen. They did an excellent job, we and the client were very impressed. It was the finishing touch to an awesome looking car, which is now ready for the track. The client was very happy with the results.
